2021년 전주역사박물관 기증·기탁 특별전 ‘기증:공유, 뜻을 나누다’
전주역사박물관은 2022년 개관 20주년을 기념하며 그간 기증 유물의 성과를 회고하고, 기증의 의미를 알리기 위하여 전시를 기획하였습니다.
○ 전 시 명 : 기증·기탁 특별전 ‘기증:공유, 뜻을 나누다’
○ 전시기간 : 2021. 12. ∼ 2022. 03.
○ 전시장소 : 전주역사박물관 기획전시실(3층)
전주역사박물관은 역사적으로 의미 있는 유물을 확보하기 위해 매년 기증·기탁을 받고 있으며, 2000년부터 2021년까지 80명의 기증자로부터 2,673점의 유물을 기증받았습니다. 이에 문화유산에 담긴 가치를 모두와 공유하며, 기증자의 뜻을 기리고 감사한 마음을 담아 기증·기탁 특별전 <기증:공유, 뜻을 나누다>를 마련하였습니다.
기증품은 대대로 집안에서 오랜 세월 동안 보관해 오던 물품 또는 직접 구입한 유물로 시대 범위는 삼국시대부터 현대사에 이르며 고문서, 도자, 서화, 민속품, 사진 등 종류도 매우 다양합니다.
이 전시를 통해 전주의 역사가 기증 문화와 함께 성장해나갈 수 있도록 기대하며, 기증해 주신 모든 분께 감사의 인사를 전합니다.
Every year, the Jeonju Museum of History accepts donations and loans to secure historically significant artifacts. From the years 2000 to 2021, the museum received 2,673 donated articles from 80 individuals. Opened in honor of the donors’ noble intentions and in recognition of their contributions, the special exhibition <Major Giving: Sharing Intentions through Donations> is an opportunity to share the value of cultural heritage with everyone.
Private donations to the museum are typically objects that were purchased directly by the donor, or kept in a single family for many years and passed down from one generation to the next. Dated to the Three Kingdoms period up until the Modern Era, the donated articles represent diverse mediums such as ancient documents or texts, ceramics, calligraphy, folk objects, and photographs.
We hope that this exhibition will be the impetus for the growth of donation culture in correlation to an improved appreciation for Jeonju history. We would also like to express our gratitude to all donors whose generosity and love for cultural heritage made this exhibition possible.
